Chris Dousharm is a Boston-based communications and digital marketing professional. He is currently working on the marketing and product teams at PDFfiller, a SaaS startup based in Brighton.

Specializing in social media, he earned an MS in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Northeastern University in 2013, and holds a BA in Public Relations with a concentration in marketing from SUNY Oswego (2008).

Chris’s marketing and PR experience spans a wide range of fields, including the arts, professional sports, and higher education. He has also consulted on social media strategy for small businesses and startups in the Boston area such as The Plate Coach, Ideas With Merritt and Daily General Counsel, and contributed to the social media portion of Tufts University’s iPads for Education pilot in 2012. Additionally, he is well-versed in community management, customer experience, branding, crisis communication, and organizational culture.

Beyond his marketing and communications background, Chris spent nearly 6 years with Apple, Inc. as a trainer in both B2C and B2B settings. He has numerous Apple hardware and software certifications, has been a member of multiple award-winning teams, and has also worked with user experience design and testing at the company's Cupertino, CA headquarters.

On the personal side, Chris is a bit of a foodie, with a deep affinity for sandwich shops, burgers, "good" beer, and oversaturated square photos of food. He is also an avid sports fan, spends a good chunk of his free time and disposable income playing pickup hockey, and considers San Francisco to be one giant vacation home.
